Reason for joining the company

When Reoma first opened, I started working there as a part-time high school student, and then joined the company as a full-time employee in 2011. I'm currently raising a child, but I've been working here as a part-time employee since 2020. I came back here because I love this job. I don't think there's any other customer service industry that sells time and space, or services, rather than things.

Job Description

Their main job is to sell tickets at the three entrance gates and provide guidance at the general information desk. At the information desk, they answer a variety of questions, such as directions to the park, return bus times, and information on udon shops near the park. They are also in charge of announcements within the park. Attractions may be suspended due to weather, so they provide information on attraction operation status and shows, as well as contact information for lost children and lost items.

The appeal of working at Reoma

The best part is hearing "thank you" from customers. Being 'helpful' here is kindness. Customers are happy just by taking their photos and talking to them when they stop by. The biggest attraction is that the more time you spend with them, the more smiles you get in return.
For customers from far away, a day at Reoma may be a once in a lifetime experience. We strive to treat each and every customer with care, so that they can spend their time with a smile and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Another attractive feature is being able to work the shifts you want. I currently work three days a week, with weekends and holidays off. They wait until about two weeks before deciding on my shifts, so I can take time off to coincide with my children's events, which is very helpful.

My Dream at Reoma

My dream is to have junior employees say, "I joined the company because I admired the ladies at the park." I want high school and university students, who will soon be entering the workforce, to look up to me and think, "I want to be a lady like that," and to think, "I want to work at Reoma."
I hope that when people are wondering, "What should I do in the future?", working at Reoma will be one of their options. In my daily work, I try to greet many guests as a "wonderful older sister" so that I can get them interested in Reoma.
Bringing in new talent and allowing the company to continue is what connects to our company's vision of "staying here for 100 years to come." Creating such a foundation is what I can do now, and it is also my dream.
My daughter, who will soon be in elementary school, has said she wants to work at Reoma, and I'm glad that she thinks that. I feel this is the first step towards her dream.

My top picks at ReomaIt's an oriental trip that makes you feel like you're abroad. Tashicho Dzong, which is a replica of a Bhutanese monastery, is beautifully crafted. The rose garden is loved by locals, but you can also enjoy seasonal flowers. The 360° 3D projection mapping is also wonderful.

This job is suitable for the following type of person!Ticket sales involve handling money, so accuracy is required, while at the general information desk you need to be flexible in responding to various questions, and it's important to greet people cheerfully with a smile at the gate. People who can adapt to their position are suited to this job, but above all, I think people who enjoy talking to people are suited to this job.

Family first!
It's easy to work even while raising children! As my children are still small, I prioritize my family and work part-time three days a week. I am happy to be able to do a job that I like. I am very grateful that my shifts and working hours are flexible to accommodate family circumstances such as "wanting to attend my children's events."

The PR department and the ticket sales department often share information with each other. They always have a firm grasp of the situation, so it's reassuring to have them there. I trust them a lot.
Although we don't have many interactions in my current department, we have a long-standing bond and are someone I can talk to about anything.
