Career advancement system

Reoma Resort provides an environment where you can advance your career and pursue the future you envision. New Reoma World and Hotel Reoma No Mori offer a variety of jobs and opportunities, so you can find a place that's right for you. Some employees have continued working for a long time, changing their employment status from full-time to part-time depending on their stage in life, and some have been rehired after leaving the company.

    Week 1

    Ooedo Onsen Monogatari H&R Group New Employee Joint Training
    You will learn etiquette and the basics of front desk work together with new employees from across the country.

    Week 2

    Orientation
    After the induction ceremony at Reoma, you will have a three-day orientation which will cover topics such as Reoma Resort and telephone correspondence.

  • July to August
    On-site training

    In the case of a park, you will be rotated through the "Operations Department," "Sales Department," and "Ticket Sales Department" and gain experience working in each department.
    Each department will have a dedicated trainer to support them in both work and personal life.

  • November
    Assignment decision

    Based on the results of your three months of on-site training, you will have an interview with the manager and your assignment will be decided.

  • July to August
    Going independent from a personal trainer

    In your first year, you will be mainly responsible for customer service, so that you can do your job properly.

2-3 years after joining the company[General employees]

  • Responsible for training and supporting new employees. By teaching others, you will gain a deeper understanding of the job.
  • The scope of your work will be expanded to include ordering, inventory management, and event preparation.
  • We will work to create an environment where part-time and casual workers can work comfortably.

4-6 years after joining the company【chief】

  • Supervisors will evaluate employees' performance using a work skills checklist, and employees will be promoted to chief depending on their suitability.
  • You will be responsible for managing monthly shifts and creating daily work schedules, and will be in charge of overseeing the site.

7-9 years after joining the company【manager】

  • Understand company policies and manage the department's personnel, supplies, and budget.
  • We will work across departments to plan and consider events so that our guests can have a great time.
  • You will gain experience and understand the work content of multiple departments in order to be promoted to assistant manager.

After 10 years of employment[Deputy manager]

  • You will be responsible for multiple departments and will check the management status of human resources, supplies, and budgets of each department manager.
  • Submit performance reports (sales and expenses) of the department in charge to the manager.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring part-time and casual employees.

After 10 years of employment[Manager]

  • Manages the overall operation of the facility.
  • Responsible for interviewing and recruiting full-time employees, mid-career applicants, and new graduates.
  • You can move up the ranks by transferring to Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Group facilities around the country, and aim to become a department manager or division chief at the Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Group.

About the system

External training assistance system

The company will fully cover (or partially subsidize) the costs of obtaining qualifications necessary for work and attending seminars. You can also use your learning and qualifications to advance your career.

Licensing System

Each department conducts on-the-job training according to the job content. In particular, for attractions, you will spend several days to a week learning about operation and safety management, and only after obtaining a license will you be involved in the actual operation. Please rest assured that a senior cast member will be by your side to instruct you until you obtain your license.

Career advancement system

Once a year in March, your supervisor will evaluate your work performance and job acquisition status and recommend you for promotion. We have an environment where if you are motivated, you can be entrusted with a position of responsibility.

Employee promotion system

If an employee has been with the company for six months and has demonstrated excellent performance, he or she can be considered for promotion to full-time employment at their own request or through the recommendation of their supervisor.

Mental care and consultation service

We have created an environment where you can consult with us at any time when you are worried or in trouble. If you are not suited to the department, we will also accommodate you in changing departments. We also have external consultation services such as telephone consultations by psychological counselors and the Ooedo Hotline of the Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Group.

Facility Use Subsidy System

You can stay at the Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Group's facilities at a discounted price. We also provide free passes to Reoma Resort. In summer and winter, we also sell discount tickets that can be purchased only by cast members.

About training

Hazard prediction training (KYT)

To ensure the safety of our guests and cast members, we regularly conduct hazard prediction training. Our trainers teach us how to spot danger, and we work to improve the skills of all cast members.
