Marugame City has been selected as one of the world's top 100 sustainable tourist destinations!
The "World's Top 100 Sustainable Tourism Destinations" is an annual award given by an international certification organization headquartered in the Netherlands to regions that are working to create better tourism destinations.
This time, Reoma Resort was recognized for its efforts to create a recycling-oriented tourist destination that utilizes local resources, such as using discarded food materials as compost for plants within the resort.
